Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using NxtDocument Studio. By using the website or app, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

Drafts require human review

NxtDocument Studio helps generate structured document drafts and artifacts. Generated content should be reviewed by qualified humans before business, legal, compliance, financial, technical, or operational use.

01About NxtDocument Studio

NxtDocument Studio is a web-based document blueprint and artifact generation platform. It helps users create reusable document structures, generate document drafts, and export outputs in formats such as PDF, DOCX, HTML, or Markdown where available.

02No account required for public Studio

The public Studio experience is designed to be usable without sign-up. To keep the service available and sustainable, anonymous quota, rate-limit, and abuse-prevention controls may apply.

03Fair-use limits

NxtDocument may apply usage limits to protect availability and prevent abuse. Limits may include document generation limits, started-generation limits, reference parsing limits, export throttles, cooldowns, prompt similarity checks, and other security controls.

  • Fair-use limits may change over time.
  • Limits may be enforced using anonymous technical signals.
  • Attempts to bypass limits may result in temporary denial of service.
  • Existing generated documents may remain exportable even when generation limits are reached, depending on product behavior.

04Acceptable use

Users must not:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
  • Attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, cooldowns, or abuse-prevention systems.
  • Reverse engineer, attack, overload, scrape, spam, or disrupt the service.
  • Upload malicious files, malware, or harmful links.
  • Submit content they do not have the right to use.
  • Use the system to generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or harmful content.
  • Use the service to produce professional advice without qualified review.

05User content and responsibility

You are responsible for the prompts, briefs, references, uploaded materials, URLs, generated outputs, exports, and other content you use with NxtDocument Studio. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to provide source material and use generated outputs.

06Generated content is draft output

NxtDocument may generate documents using AI-assisted systems. Generated output may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, unsupported assumptions, or formatting issues. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before use.

Generated content is not legal, financial, medical, regulatory, security, audit, procurement, engineering, or professional advice.

07Sensitive information

Do not submit confidential, regulated, privileged, personal, highly sensitive, export-controlled, or third-party-restricted information unless you have assessed the risks and have authority to do so. NxtDocument is not intended as a secure repository for sensitive enterprise data in the public no-signup experience.

08Reference materials and URLs

If you upload files or provide URLs, you confirm that you have the right to use them. NxtDocument may reject unsupported, oversized, suspicious, private-network, or unsafe URLs/files.

09Exports and document formatting

NxtDocument may provide export options such as PDF, DOCX, HTML, or Markdown. Export quality may vary depending on content complexity, table size, browser behavior, and supported formats. Users should review exported files before sharing.

10Availability and changes

NxtDocument Studio may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. The free public experience is provided on a best-effort basis and may include fair-use limits.

11Open and community-friendly access

NxtDocument Studio aims to keep structured document generation accessible for the community through a free public experience, subject to fair-use, security, operational, and abuse-prevention limits. See Open Source Philosophy.

12Third-party services

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, AI generation, analytics, email/contact handling, and other operational functions. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.

13Intellectual property

NxtDocument's name, brand, interface, design, and product experience belong to their respective owner(s). User-provided content remains the responsibility of the user. Subject to these Terms, users may use generated outputs for their own lawful purposes after reviewing them.

14Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. NxtDocument does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free output, specific business outcomes, search ranking, compliance approval, legal validity, or suitability for a particular purpose.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NxtDocument is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or decisions made based on generated content.

16Indemnity

You agree to use the service responsibly and to be responsible for claims arising from your misuse of the service, unlawful content, unauthorized uploads, or violation of these Terms.

17Termination or restriction

NxtDocument may restrict, throttle, block, or deny access to users, sessions, devices, or requests that appear abusive, automated, unsafe, or harmful.

18Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction should be determined by the operator of NxtDocument Studio before commercial launch. This section should be reviewed and completed before relying on these Terms for production use.

19Changes to terms

These Terms may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
